| Chilli is a big attractive gelding out of Tidal Wave who was a three star eventer with amazing scope. Tidal Wave was by Flooding who is a well known sire of showjumpers in Australia. Perusing Flooding's pedigree shows why with a great number of the most influential thoroughbred jumping sires present. Notable Flooding horses include Olympic representative Another Flood (Jenny Parleviet and Gavin Chester), Flood Warning (Jim Brown), Flood Alert (Jenny Parlevliet) and 4 star eventer Let It Rain (Kim Wright-Smith and Georgia Clifford) who was sold to the USA. Unfortunately Tidal Wave suffered an untimely career ending injury after which we retired her to stud.
Chilli has a beautiful front with an elegant neck and a very athletic build. He has extraordinary movement and with Tidal Wave's sensational power, scope and boldness added to Chacco Blue's amazing pedigree we think this horse will be something special. At the German Young Horse Championships in 2003 Chacco-Blue proved to be one of the best. In 2004 he won the final qualification with a score of 9.2 – the Championship title within reach, he missed out on winning the overall championship because the wrong fence was jumped in the final jump off! Jumping spectacular rounds at the Young Horse World Championships in Lanaken he demonstrated that he is one of the best horses in his age group. Ridden by Alois Pollman-Schweckhorse, he began 2008 in a very promising manner by coming third in the Grand Prix in Neustadt/Dosse. His progeny inherits his great willingness to perform and they are highly successful in young horse classes. His first licensed son, Carlo, recently won young horse classes at the 1.40 level, after showing off his above average scope during the loose jumping at the stallion approvals in Munster-Handorf 2007. Sire Chambertin won the final qualification twice at the national young horse championships and was Holsteiner County Champion in 1999. He continues to produce top show jumpers. His dam’s sire Contender once again adds scope and technique to the pedigree, topped off with the thoroughbred Godivari xx.
