We were very excited to have our first foal on the ground by Aurum Rivière d'Or in 2008! This was a much anticipated event and we were not disappointed! 'Polly' is the image of her father (apart from his colour). He is certainly throwing type very strongly. She is beautifully conformed with strong bone and is very uphill with a lovely neck. She is endowed with a wonderful quiet personality, completely unflappable, loves people and is very bold. With her mix of strong dressage and jumping lines is likely to excel in either area. She has outstanding elevated movement and an excellent natural jump. Her father is making something of a name for himself at present with excellent results in dressage and showing. He is just starting his jumping training and in typical fashion is taking it all in his stride. He is an amazingly quick learner. So far his youngsters seem the same and Polly will follow in his footsteps we are sure. |

'Polly' is out of a big beautiful Daley K mare BP Montana who has movement to die for and the quietest temperament. Montana is a dream to work with and would certainly have made a great riding horse if we hadn't snapped her up as a broodmare! BP Montana's sire Daley K is of course a renowned producer of top level dressage and showjumping horses in Australia. Perhaps his most famous son is Warlord, a Grand Prix showjumper. Her pedigree also contains the strong lines of Star Kingdom, Nearco, Court Martial and the highly influential Precipitation. These lines are represented in many of the world's great dressage and jumping bloodlines. |
